This drawing is definitely a very emotional and moving piece. It has a certain grainy quality that provokes sadness, yet the eyes are determined and dead set. It definitely helps that you only enhanced the beads and the eyes with colour. The sepia tone creates an overall feeling about it, but the colours accent the parts that create the most emotion.
I can only see one thing: You seemed to have gotten lazy on the right side, towards where it looks as though hair is supposed to be. Also, even though the nose is covered, there should be lips between the wings- yet there are none.
This drawing, all in all, is truly very good. You did something few artists succeed at: You captured emotion in your work.
The Artist thought this was FAIR
